It’s always refreshing, and indeed essential, to be able to step back from your day to day and hear about new developments and ideas. This is what Alliotts’ Marketing Team were doing at Brighton SEO on Thursday and Friday last week. https://brightonseo.com/about
Having started out as a meeting of a few SEO minds in a room above a pub, Brighton SEO has grown to become the world’s largest search marketing conference with 6,000 tickets for each event and delegates joining from over 100 countries.
The conference has expanded to include detailed and practical sessions, talks, networking and training from the best in the business. In 2023 Brighton SEO launched its first international event in San Diego, a huge step and endorsement.
There was a lot to absorb last week, but a few standouts were, learning about the new ways that AI and machine learning is contributing to reporting and to SEO, and how it can help us do things a little better.
Content is always high on the agenda at Brighton SEO, and a recurring theme last week was the importance of keeping a balance between AI and human generated content.
It was good too to be reminded of the importance of staying on brand and keeping a tone and producing relevant content that resonates with who you are. A lively presentation on the concept of thought leader suggested that it’s not necessary to be an expert, but to take on the role of thought provoker and immerse yourself in commentary on topics that you’re interested in.
Held twice a year Alliotts marketing team will be back by the sea in October to hear from the SEO gurus on the latest in all things SEO.
Self-employed workers will see a substantial reduction in their Class 4 national insurance contributions (NICs) for the current tax year after two percentage cuts were announced in the 2023 Autumn Statement and 2024 March Budget.
Companies without a digital invoice processing system in place are leaving themselves open to invoice fraud. Over the past year, nearly a third of businesses have been targeted.
