Listening to ambitious entrepreneurs and investors helps ensure our outsourced services are aligned to their needs
I’ve just returned from spending two days with innovative and ambitious entrepreneurs and investors at Slush, full of fresh ideas and inspiration to help my clients’ businesses flourish.
Held in Helsinki, Slush is a world leading conference attracting 20,000 founders, investors and influencers from diverse industries. As a specialist in working with start-ups in the tech sector, being there was a fantastic journey into the pulse of cutting-edge industries and the minds of leaders pushing the boundaries.
I was invited through Games London’s Gamechanger programme, which is tailored for start-ups in video games. It was a great opportunity to make new connections as well as to meet up with clients and people active in the sector.
Listening to gaming ventures—from video games to board games—helped me understand their financial requirements. Our expertise in providing fractional CFO and outsourced finance function services is perfectly aligned with their needs.
Beyond gaming, interactions with tech clients broadened our network and has started conversations on cross-industry collaborations. It was great to meet up with Byro Legal, a prominent member of our international network Alliott Global Alliance.
Slush isn’t a regular networking event; it’s a community, a dynamic mix of visions and opportunities all in one place. The conference included topical talks and fireside discussions with industry leaders in a variety of sectors including Space, Gaming and AI.
The insights gained and connections I made at Slush have already begun reshaping our outsourced services team’s approach to help us to better serve the dynamic needs of start-ups and investors.
