Alliotts supports One Special Walk

On Friday, 3rd October, a Team from Alliotts will be taking part in One Special Walk – an accessible 25km walk from London Stadium at West Ham to Wembley – in support of the incredible charity, SpecialEffect.

Our team of walkers from Alliotts are coming together to raise awareness and funds for SpecialEffect, a charity dedicated to transforming the lives of people with physical disabilities by helping them play video games.

SpecialEffect doesn’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Their expert assessment teams work closely with individuals to create and loan customised gaming setups tailored to each person’s specific needs. By doing this, they enable people of all ages to enjoy the games they love and participate fully in a hobby that brings joy, social connection, and inclusion.

Beyond their direct support, SpecialEffect freely shares their knowledge and expertise with players and developers around the world—through guidance, accessibility resources, and innovative tech solutions. All of this is offered completely free of charge, with one goal in mind: to improve the quality of life for as many disabled gamers as possible, worldwide.
