Alliotts Media is committed to supporting filmmakers throughout the UK
Alliotts Media is committed to supporting filmmakers throughout the UK and it’s this ambition that led us to Birmingham on Friday 7th October for the Birmingham TV and Film Market.
A unique event, so good that we think it should be replicated in more regions, the day brought filmmakers in front of investment and distribution bodies giving them the opportunity to pitch their ideas, make connections and close deals.
The Ballroom at the Birmingham Grand Hotel was buzzing at full capacity as filmmakers pitched to the likes of StudioCanal, Lionsgate, Sky, Channel 4, Paramount and many more.
In its second year – the Film and TV market was set up by Sophie Ivanova, Louise Osbourne and Mellissa Donello with the aim of ‘building connections and creating opportunities, injecting fresh and inclusive voices into the UK film and television industry, stimulating growth and investment.’
To that end, Alliotts had an important role to play at this event – with the launch of our new business venture ‘Triple Exposure.’
This venture is a three-way collaboration of Alliotts media accountancy and tax services with media legal specialists ‘Reviewed and Cleared’ and specialist insurers to the media industry ‘Performance and Film and Media Insurance.’ An innovative concept, Triple Exposure provides filmmakers with a one-stop solution for all things accounting, legal and insurance, leaving them free to create.
It was great to launch Triple Exposure in such a positive space and to a receptive audience. Our mission is to help filmmakers and to make their lives easier. To find out more about our products and discounts available please see the links below.
