Business Services Manager Zaklina manages a portfolio of clients which includes many private equity institutions where the financial compliance has been outsourced to Alliotts. She is also co-managing the outsourcing department that covers bookkeeping, management accounts preparation and VAT submission for clients in various sectors including private equity, property, retail, and investment.

Zaklina is passionate about investing time in understanding her clients and their businesses in order to provide advice tailored to clients’ circumstances.

Zaklina is specialised in all aspects of outsourcing and provides a dedicated service to clients. She also has a particular expertise in working with a wide range of accounting software products, and if required, can easily pick up bespoke systems used by clients. Zaklina is a Xero Certified Advisor and a Fathom Advisor.

Zaklina’s experience in providing a fully outsourced accounting function and assisting clients at all stages of the business cycle and in a variety of ways including, implementing accounting systems (including cloud-based solutions) has helped many businesses to concentrate on growing their business.

VAT

Zaklina has extensive knowledge and experience in VAT matters and customs duty matters. A member of the Alliotts Brexit advisory team Zaklina contributed informative content on the changes and practical implications affecting clients following Brexit.

Penalties for late VAT payments

More than 580,000 traders were penalised for late payment of VAT last year, representing a quarter of businesses registered for VAT. A sure sign that the tougher penalty regime introduced in 2023 is hitting cash-strapped businesses.
