Nick is experienced in advising clients in a wide variety of sectors, including technology, education and not for profit. He provides audit, financial reporting, and business advisory services to help support his clients grow and achieve their ambitions.
With a background in audit, Nick has a keen eye in understanding how a client’s systems and processes operate and where potential issues may arise. He then works with them to devise solutions to their problems.
Nick heads the Alliotts’ Games and App Developers team and works with a number of startups and established businesses based in Guildford, London and further afield. He provides advice on tax credits, budgeting, and all things financial.
Nick works with a variety of clients in the technology sector from ambitious growing businesses to well established companies, providing advice on tax credits, share option schemes and EIS/SEIS schemes to ensure that they are benefiting from the UK tax incentives available.
With 10+ years of experience in audit, Nick works with companies to provide a comprehensive audit service. Highly analytic and tenacious by nature, Nick doesn’t just flag up potential issues but actively works with clients to come up with workable solutions. His aim is to ensure that the audits he delivers provide clients with valuable information on their business and inform future strategies.
Nick works with companies to identify potential R&D claims and advises them on the process to apply for the relief. He liaises with our specialist tax team in order to ensure that all potential costs are identified and correctly accounted for, with the aim of submitting a successful R&D application to HMRC.
Nick enjoys walking his corgi with his wife and daughter around the villages close to their home and further afield.
He is a keen gamer and tries to use some of his free time catching up with the latest releases. He is a big fan of the Legend of Zelda series. He also unwinds by watching video game content on YouTube and Twitch. With family based on the Isle of Man, Nick loves to get back to watch the annual TT motorcycle races and can’t imagine anything more thrilling than watching the bikes come careering down off the mountain.
