Sarah supports clients and colleagues in both personal and business tax, providing advisory and compliance services. As a mixed tax senior areas where Sarah typically assists clients include, the preparation of tax returns; preparing documentation relating to gifts into trusts; and preparing capital gains tax forecasts on transactions. Trusts, estates and matters relating to the remittance basis rules for non-UK domiciled individuals are Sarah’s particular areas of specialism. She also has a proven expertise in drafting power of attorney appointments.
Sarah enjoys the challenge and service of helping clients understand their numbers. As a self-proclaimed ‘people person’ she cares about providing useful advice and information to assist our clients and to deliver personal and business tax solutions that make a difference.
Based in our Guildford office Sarah joined Alliotts in 2013; since then she has completed her training and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Furthering a specialism in tax, Sarah continued her studies to become a Chartered Tax Advisor (passing the CTA exams with the Chartered Institute of Taxation).
When dealing with clients’ business and Trust matters the skills and knowledge Sarah has gained as a Chartered Accountant prove to be very useful.
