A Family life is important to Peter and he enjoys spending time at home with his wife and two children, tending to their menagerie of animals or sharing a love of football, even though they each support different teams!
Peter has varied interests including local natural history and wildlife gardening.
Currently he is an Honorary Member of Ampthill & District Round Table. “I think voluntary work such as Round Table is a great way of meeting people and having a good social calendar whilst fundraising for local causes. Work-life balance is important and Round Table helps with this. Our Christmas Float raises thousands of pounds. We also run a local fireworks event and an annual Sporting Dinner where speakers have included Jimmy Greaves, Johnny Herbert, Rory Underwood and Paul Merson. There's never a dull moment. Each November a team of us collects for BBC Children in Need at mainline railway stations. Being dressed up as Pudsey always raises a smile."
Alliotts was founded in 1869 in the City of London
