Colin has grown up with a love of music and was a semi pro drummer in his father’s band from the age of 12. His claim to fame is, as an impressionable 16 year old, appearing as a drummer in the 1960’s film “Percy” starring Hywel Bennett. After 6 hours shooting, the end result is 10 seconds of Colin working his ‘high hat’.

Father of two adult daughters and a grandfather, family life keeps him busy at weekends. A musician at heart, Colin likes to take up the opportunity when he can to go to live music events, particularly if any of the rock legends of his youth are playing. His one regret was that he never got to see Frank Sinatra.

Colin enjoys travelling, and lists his top three cities as Cape Town, Sydney and San Francisco.

Passionate about Rugby and as a purist ‘tart’ will watch any game, any time, any place, anywhere (and also enjoys a dirty martini!).

Best weekend ever? Lion’s tour in Durban 2009 (ignoring his wedding of course...)

Colin also actively contributes to Kensington and Chelsea’s business community through the Chamber of Commerce. Having held the office of Chairman and President at the Chamber, he is now Vice President.
