Essential
- Preferably 5 GCSEs or equivalent to include Mathematics, minimum grade 6 (B) and English minimum grade 4/5 (C) or above
- Educated to ‘A’ Level/GNVQ or equivalent)
- AAT Level 2 or Level 3 looking to continue AAT before moving on to ACCA/ACA
- A minimum of 6 months in a bookkeeping or accounting role
- Experience of Xero and Excel
- Good understanding of double entry bookkeeping
Desirable
- Experience of preparing management accounts
- Experience of using DextPrepare and DextPrecision

- The ability to work flexibly, with willingness to travel to client sites and the Firm’s other office in London if required.
As part of the Accounts/Outsourcing team, to assist with the delivery of bookkeeping and management accounts to our varied client base whilst working towards completing the AAT qualification.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Partners, Managers and Outsourcing staff:
- Assist with bookkeeping assignments and the preparation of monthly or quarterly management accounts as required.
- Assist with the preparation of financial accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Assist with the preparation of VAT returns.
Other Duties and tasks
Other reasonable duties in line with the scope of the role may be requested from time to time.
