Jane Greenwood, has joined Alliotts’ tax team in the London office taking on a new role as Head of International Private Client. She will be working alongside David Gibbs who joined last year as a partner specialising in international corporate tax.

She will focus on providing international tax advice to inward investors coming into the UK working with a portfolio of clients including individuals returning to the UK who need advice on what tax they need to pay and to which jurisdiction, and the internationally mobile whose affairs may involve property or other assets and income sources in several countries.

Jane says:

“Throughout my career I have focussed on providing personal tax advice to individuals. I gained my experience at Ernst & Young where I advised on ex-pat tax matters and at Menzies where I was on the private client tax team specialising in residence and domicile issues.I already knew that Alliotts had a wonderful team of people and a great workplace culture, so when the opportunity to return in such an interesting role became available, I didn’t hesitate.”

International Corporate Tax Partner David Gibbs, welcomes Jane to the team adding:

“We need to be able to offer clients personal and corporate tax advice with an international perspective. Our clients are no longer restricted to thinking on a national level for trading and growth opportunities, and we have seen a sharp rise in the number of new international enquiries and the need for seamless global tax advice is constantly increasing.”
