Alliotts joined over 90 international colleagues from 31 countries in Prague for Alliott Group’s Europe, Middle East & Africa Conference
I recently travelled to Prague with Colin Farmer, David Gibbs and Delia Orme to attend the EMEA Regional Conference of the firm’s international alliance of independent accounting and law firms. Themed ‘Building a Future-Proof Professional Firm’, the conference provided us with insights into how we can become a more powerful, trusted resource for our clients in a world rich with opportunities but also facing significant challenges.
A record 93 delegates attended Alliott Group’s 2018 EMEA Regional Conference in Prague (9-11 May) which covered a range of business improvement topics such as leadership, talent management and marketing, but also the latest international developments in tax, the law and regulatory issues.
We returned from the conference with not only stronger personal relationships with our professional counterparts from different territories but also with strategies and insights into how we as a firm can:
Significant changes to the US tax system were also outlined by our US colleagues and contextualised for those clients who have operations, investments or property held in the US.
We also contributed to specialist meetings of the alliance’s International Tax, Legal, M&A, Global Mobility and Private Wealth groups, and are in a prime position to source specialist expertise, from a host of different jurisdictions, for clients needing access to experts in these complex, interrelated areas.
Attending international conferences enables Alliotts to advise our clients who have global needs more effectively; knowledge sharing amongst members and workshops by thought leaders in business, the economy and technology at alliance events reassures clients that Alliotts is serious about future-proofing not only the firm but their businesses.
