When making the decision to move to a new payroll provider, you will have many questions. It’s not a change you make without careful consideration and you can’t afford for it to go wrong.
Here we share some of the common questions we are asked and our answers.
I would like to outsource my payroll. What is the best time to do it?
We work with a range of payroll software, so depending on the existing payroll software used, often all we require is a back-up to get started. If your pay day is end of the month, we would suggest you provide us with a backup as soon as a payroll run is completed and RTI submitted so we have at least two week to interrogate the software before we have to run the payroll.
How much will it cost?
This will depend on the number of employees; the frequency and complexity of the payroll; and which services you require (e.g. payroll, BACS, pensions etc). We would provide you with a quote in advance, along with a clear scope of work so that there are no hidden surprises.
Will my payroll get done on a timely basis?
We will provide you with a Service Level Agreement at the onset, which will schedule out the deliverables between us and you. The timetable will be mutually agreed by us both and we will deliver the payroll in accordance with the agreed schedule.
Will you look after the pensions?
We can upload pensions for you with your pension provider, as well as submit declarations on your behalf. We can set up pensions with your agreement with certain providers.
