With activity slowly beginning to start throughout the economy, film and TV production companies are keen to start or continue with, projects that were put on hold as a result of the pandemic.

I was lucky enough to catch up with some friends of Alliotts, who are involved in the sector, and who were willing to let me interview them.

They have kindly agreed to let me share our recorded conversations, one is with a producer/assistant director and the other with representatives from a film finance company.

Richard Whelan, Producer and Assistant Director talks to Sam Ampah about the many practical challenges of restarting filming and how production companies are planning to overcome them.

Ian Franses, COO of Peacock Film Finance Limited and his associate Roger Evans, Production Manager and Line Producer, share their thoughts with Sam Ampah on film finance post-covid and what producers need to consider.

I hope you've enjoyed hearing these perspectives, if you have any questions on any matter we talk about in our interviews, or any related area, please do get in touch and we'd be happy to help.
