**Update 09:00 15th June** - The Strand Underpass has now reopened. It appears that buses are now able to use the northbound carriageway.

**Update 09:00 5th May** - Disruption still as before. The Stand Underpass remains closed as does the North Bound carriageway on the Kingsway. Southbound on the Kingsway is open.

**Update 09:00 14th April** - There is still disruption on the Kingsway for motor vehicles.  North bound remains closed due to repair works, however the southbound road is now open. Please still allow extra time and expect some disruption to journeys.

**Update 09:00 9th April** - The London office is operating as normal though there are road closures in place which may affect visitors coming to this office. The Kingsway (including Strand Underpass) is closed to all traffic and looks like it will be for a while. Holborn Underground station is open but you cannot walk from it to the office directly and will need to follow diversions.  Buses that usually use the Kingsway are also being affected.  Please allow extra time for your journey. If you require any more information on the best way to access the London office, please call us 020 7240 9971

**Update 09:00 7th April** - We now have access to our London office and there appears to be minimal ongoing problems. As such we are now back up and running in London and should be able to deal with all enquiries as normal. Thank you for your understanding during this very unusual event.

**Update 16:00 2nd April** - No change as of yet. London Fire Brigade are still on site and looks like it may go on for a lot longer. London office is definitely remaining closed today and will remain closed for the long weekend. We hope to be back in on Tuesday but will keep you updated as and when we have more information.

**Update 13:00 2nd April** - The situation has not improved and Police and Fire Brigade currently don't know when it will. It is unlikely we will be given access to the building today so please assume the London office is closed until Tuesday, and continue to use the Guildford office as a point of contact (01483 533 119).

**Update 11:00 2nd April** - Our IT strategy is working well and enabling staff to work remotely while still having access to our central servers, so even though we aren't on site, work is continuing.

-----

On the 1st April at approximately 1:30pm the Alliotts London office was evacuated due to a fire in Holborn. London Fire Brigade were on the scene very quickly but due to concerns about the toxicity of the smoke being given off a safety cordon was established, which unfortunately contained our building. The cause of the fire is unknown, and the Fire Brigade are still on site dealing with it.

Where possible our staff are working remotely in order to keep disruption to a minimum.  All phones call to our London office are currently being diverted to the Guildford office, where staff are on hand to help all clients. Staff should still be contactable by email but if you haven't received a response please forward your email to guildford@alliotts.com.

Ian Gibbon, Alliotts Chairman said "For situations like this we have a business continuity plan in place to keep disruption to a minimum. The cooperation of our staff has been fantastic and thank you to our clients for their understanding and patience. We will endeavour to keep any disruption to an absolute minimum and we will keep you updated on this ever changing situation"

We will keep you updated on this situation as best we can but if you need to contact us, please either email guildford@alliotts.com or call 01483 533 119.
