We are pleased to announce that on 1 July 2020 Alliotts was incorporated as a limited liability partnership (LLP). Alliotts can trace its history back to 1869 and last year celebrated 150 years in business, the conversion to LLP is another milestone in this illustrious history.
LLPs are favoured amongst UK accountancy firms as more simplified and modern business structures. This move won’t affect our service delivery or change the way that we work
From the conversion date, Alliotts LLP took on all the obligations and liabilities of Alliotts. Partners and staff have automatically transferred across and continue to work on matters as engaged by clients. The LLP will assume responsibility for these matters going forward. We do this on the basis that all future obligations to clients are the responsibility of Alliotts LLP.
Our Terms of Business will remain exactly as set out for clients previously except that the Terms of Business will apply to the LLP in place of the Partnership after 1 July 2020.
It has always been important to us to provide clients with a high standard of work, and there will be no change to the services they receive. Our highly skilled teams will continue to carry out client work from the same office (or remotely if necessary), with the same telephone numbers and email addresses. We will all continue to work with clients’ best interests in mind in accordance with the instructions given. There will be no significant change to the operation or management of the firm and the only obvious change will be to our registered name.
To combat the risks of cyber fraud, we are not changing the bank account codes or account numbers for any of our client and office accounts. If you receive any requests to send money to different accounts, please do not comply with the requests, as the requests will not have been made by Alliotts or Alliotts LLP. If you do receive a request, please phone or email us as soon as possible to make us aware.
We will be happy to answer any questions you may have about this conversion
