Peter focuses primarily on working with ambitious owner managers where his skills of strategic planning, tax minimisation, KPI reporting, and cashflow forecasting, make a key difference to their success.

These skills are also used for his portfolio of venture capital spin out companies and subsidiaries of international listed groups where he provides a quasi-FD service to the investors.

As a Chartered Tax Adviser as well as a Chartered Accountant, Peter has a watching eye on the tax impact of transactions and planning, making him a truly pro-active adviser.

Peter hosts Alliotts Owner Managed Business Forum on LinkedIn.  The group promotes interactive discussion amongst owner managers on the latest opportunities and hurdles facing their business. Family life is important to Peter and he enjoys spending time at home with his wife and two children, tending to their menagerie of animals or sharing a love of football, even though they each support different teams!

Peter has varied interests including local natural history and wildlife gardening.

Currently he is Area Chairman of Round Table Area 54 and Treasurer of Ampthill & District Round Table. “I think voluntary work such as Round Table is a great way of meeting people and having a good social calendar whilst fundraising for local causes. Work-life balance is important and Round Table helps with this. Our Christmas Float raises thousands of pounds. We also run a local fireworks event and an annual Sporting Dinner where speakers have included Jimmy Greaves, Johnny Herbert, and John Virgo. There's never a dull moment, last November a team of us collected for BBC Children in Need at Luton Airport, at Wembley Stadium during an England game, and at local railway stations. Being dressed up as Pudsey always raises a smile."
